First Responder Toy Fund Drive Fundraiser

In order to help improve the lives of the children in our community. The Spokane Valley Kiwanis Club sought donations from across the community in order to purchase new sealed stuffed animals for the First Responders (both Spokane Valley Police Department and the Spokane Valley Fire Department) to be able to distribute to kids they come into contact with. Often our first responders interact with kids on one of their worst days and its important to help provide comfort and support through those times.

Thanks to those who donated to this worthwhile cause, the 1st annual First Responder Stuffed Animal Drive raised $4,000 which purchased a little more than 300 new stuffed animals. If you are interested in getting involved in this important project, contact the Spokane Valley Kiwanis Club via their contact us page above. The annual drive is set to kick off again in fall of 2023!
